THE ARTICLE by Eddie Cross of the MDC posted on your website on Wednesday, May 7, does not seem to say anything different from the rest of the party's press briefings.

   

The cry baby attitude is still there and the blame on the Joint Operational Command and other government and party bodies is still characteristic.

   

When I read through the article I was looking for new information which, I should say, I did not get. MDC statements seem almost rehearsed, like a mantra. What I was looking for was his version of the figures and how they were arrived at. I do not doubt that they might have won the election; but so far their claims seem baseless. What are the figures, and their breakdown Mr Cross? Facts and figures will help your case.

   

While he is at it; can he also publish the names of the 25 dead MDC activists and where they were killed and when the police reports were filed. Surely to know the numbers he should know the names.

Ironically, Mr Cross on SW Radio didn't seem to know the names and the real figures.

   

Figures will help us skeptics get to the bottom of these issues.
